Longhair or short? What do you guys think?

I have ears that are kind of big. With short hair you notice them,but with long hair you do not. I have been told by a few girls not to cut it. Most people say the shit needs to go but it helps to hide my ears what do you guys think? Are there any stylish hair cuts that can hide my ears?
