LOL,my mom bumped into Tony Robbins today...

My mom was chilling at a health food store eating a salad,and Tony Robbins walked in.She walked over to him and said hello and told him what an inspiration he was to her.She said he was the coolest,most down to earth guy ever,that he came and sat at her table and asked her all sorts of questions about herself and family,etc...Seems to be a real person,not screwed up by his own infamy.She also said he was so big he barely could walk through the doors,lol.

He probably is very nice but he seems like he's on coke or some other speed. His speach is very pressured in his infomerercials. I guess that could also be a result of having to talk fast because of the high cost of advertising time. Just an observation.

I used to own a set of his tapes. Before I finished the set I loaned them to a friend who moved out of state a week later w/o saying a word. I guess the fact that I'm still bitter about it means they didn't work for me.

Tony Robbins seems like a great guy, and his tapes are second to none. If you guys like him you should check out some of Zig Zigler's stuff. It's good stuff to listen to on llong trips and such.

He's not smart. He doesn't do much for people. I rarely see anyone change their life after hearing him. They're on cloud 9 for maybe 3 days, and then back to their ho-hum lives.

Anthony is just a GREAT talker. A salesman basically, who can sell anything. There's shitloads of great public speakers and salesman. Nothing special.
