Liver Values high!!! What should I do???

REF-E-MB

New member
I got some monthly blood work done about 1 week ago for accutane and the results came back not too well.

I have been on EQ for 6 weeks, sust for 4 weeks, and fina for 2 weeks. I have also been on accutane.

I was taking only about 150-200mg of ALA per day because my shipment hadn't come in. My shipment did however come in this past week(right after the blood test) and I have upped my dose to 1000-1200mg per day.

I have to take another blood test next week and was wondering if the ALA would help help to reduce the liver values enough so that my doc would put me back on accutane. I only have about another month or two of accutane and just want to finish it out. SB is also coming up and I want to look good for that(i have four weeks left of my cycle).

Need Advice!!!! Thanks!

I am not sure how high the values were. I still live with my mom and am on her insurance so the doctor contacted her and told her. All he said was that he would not refill my prescription because he was concerned about my liver values being high.

He wants me to take a monocyte test and and a test for mono this week. By taking my ALA, will this help reduce the values???

Take the ALA at high dosage

and take any liver protector-cleanser-detoxifier (whatever) you can get your hands on, since the bloodtest is zeroing in on you.

What about L-Gluthatione? I heard this stuff is more potent even in pill form than ALA to lower liver values. A doc I know told me that. It ain't cheap though.
