Little worried.....

My wife is 13 weeks pregnant...and has spotted the last 2 days...she goes to the doctor at 4:00. I hope everything is fine...she was pretty shaken when she just called me.

Holy shit,

Although I hav nheard it happens in healthy pregnancies. I'm saying a quick prayer for all of you

Good luck man

I have heard it happening as well. It does happen to women with no problems as a result. Can`t help but worry though, I totally understand that. Good luck

Good and bad news....her cervix looks to be "sensative" and it is believed that is where the bleeding is coming from.....the doc says everything seems to be okay besides that.....she said it may have been caused from sex (see things can happen only doing it once).....so she told my wife to lay off the intercourse for a week.

Thanks for all the well wishes.

This is a perfect time to talk her into major anal play!

Sounds like everything should be okay, but still saying a prayer for your family....now leave her alone will ya, or at least ask for a blow job

LOL...I never see that happening.

georgie...spotting = vaginal bleeding...usually a very small amount.

Gymgurl....she told me I can do her friend instead.

LOl Lucky man you are! She can just have your children while your off having fun...my hubby would have liked that idea lol.....

so he ultrasounded her then? still glad you got some good news :)

No ultrasound.......said it wasn't necessary because the blood was light....she said if it was a miscarry, it would be dark and the volume would be a lot more.

cool i was actually thinking he might not have based on his clinical experience....makes sense :) the bleeding is very different as is the volume like you said...good to be on your toes, impressive how quickly you got her seen... :)

You can never be too careful with these things. I have a friend that was 23 weeks pregnant....was at work and started to bleed and cramp...called her doctor and he said not to panic, just gather your things and go to the hospital (he did this not to get her too worried and make things worse)....as soon as she got there she was rushed off of her feet...she was in labor and having contractions (that was the cramping) and didn't even know it....she was having a healthy pregnancy thus far and therefore never would have thought that the cramping was contractions.......well they tried to stop the labor, but was unable too.....gave birth to a 23 week little boy....2 pounds...they told her IF he makes it, he would have severe brain damage because he had Grade 3 brain bleeds on both sides of his head....Grade 4 is CP.......well....long story short, the little boy pulled through without any health or mental problems.....Cameron is a 4 year old healthy boy.

The pre-mature delivery was attributed to a weak cervix......could have been prevented with a stitch.

Enough babbling....LOL.

beastly, glad to hear everything is OK. I hope for the both of you that the rest of this pregnancy term is trouble free, and you are both blessed with a happy, healthy baby.

I hope everything turns out awesome in the end for you, as I'm sure it will. However, if you think me lighting myself on fire for a while or anything like that will help you out in any way, then you can just forget it right now.

How about you move closer so you can train me?

no clown colleges close to him up there...i've already looked into it. none that you'd want to go to at least and have some sort of shot at the big show.

I think Michigan State Clown College has a pretty good program, or so I've heard. I think they overdo it a bit on the face paint, personally, but so long as they're churning out clowns that are making people laugh I think their reputation will speak for itself.

bro assuming you aren't mocking me i've gotta say that MSSC isn't really all that bad but when you're double majoring in Science Magic and Giant Bubble Show then you really need to be at one of the higher caliber colleges. but if you're just wanting to do little kids' birthday parties and maybe moonlight at six flags on the weekend then i guess it's an alright place.

23 weeks isreally on the limits of viability, we're only beginning to consider going down to 23 from 24

personally with my slapdash cereal packet knowledge of medicine i'd be paging the consultant for an ultrasound with any bleeding, i guess when u have the experience you have the balls to say its blatantly an ectopy from cervical trauma
