Lightning with 90 pts = most pts in the NHL

That is amazing. Detroit is hot too. I just hope my Blues get it back on track. We just fied probably the best coach in hockey these days. Too bad we couldn't just fire our team. I'm sure someone would take Pronger, Demetria, weight.

Hockey was picking up steam and ratings in the early 90's. Lemieux, Jagr, Gretzky, Lindros, Federov, Bure etc... there used to be guys that light it up. Now... these guys are handcuffed and ratings have plummeted. I was a rabid Pens fan when I lived in Pittsburgh, but I have lost interest.

They need to take an NBA approach and change the game to showcase their stars... not make them seem average. Hockey is a great game, but it is difficult to get into it nowadays. A lot of the goals seem accidental.

Naw, they need to have a NHLPA strike for two years. Totally kill of the sport in most of the US and have it re-build from scratch when it comes back.

Baseball and the NBA should be next.
 
lightning 1 red wings 1. the bolts completly dominated last nights game at detroit, but ill give legace credit he stood on his head and stopped 40 shots. St louis fired a rocket off the post with 40 seconds to go. soooooooooooo close to a win. Detroit has no chance against the bolts if they play in the finals, the bolts are fasterand more talented as shown last night and only a career goaltending game kept the score at 1-1 instead of 7-1 as it could of been

obviously u guys dont watch teams like the lighning, canuks, and red wings that dont play that type of game. please none of u watch hockey and have no clue what u are talking about so leave the talk to those who know

Whatever. You're telling me that when you watch a Vancouver game and some assgoon is trying to catch Naslund from behind and is using his stick to hold him back cause he's not fast enough on his own that it doesn't drive you nuts? I can't stand watching NHL games. The NHL has made it so that the less talented goons that pepper every roster are on even footing with the stars of the game. That's bullshit. I watch maybe 10 minutes of one game and see 10 hooking and holding penalties that aren't called.

The NHL needs to call the rule book properly or they need to enlarge the rinks. Since we know they're too damn cheap to do that, they need to go to 4 on 4 to open things up. The NHL is nowhere near the NBA or NFL because they're idiots that don't know how to admit their product sucks.

but vancouver isnt the team doing it, people try and slow down naslund becasue hes the best player in hockey bar none, id trade St Louis for him in a heartbeat even though they play different positions, penalties need to be called i agree, u can thank the devils for this type of play since they have won 3 cups by doing it

This has been going on for 10 years though, you'd think the morons that run the NHL would clue in. I haven't watched more than 1 period of a hockey game in almost 10 years and it's a shame cause it's a great game. I just can't stand to watch, it's a fuckin bore.

LMAO.....no chance? The most talented team in the NHL? Do you the depth Detroit has.....look at the injuries they've had all season.

Hey....your team is up by one point....but look at the games played....one more than detroit......your 1st place standing is short lived, sucka.

No talk of hockey please the Leafs lost to the Habs. :bawling: I am a Leafs fan I am used to them losing but to the Habs is beyond painfull.
