Light faster than Thought?

I've had an eppifany, or however you spell it.
What travels faster? Light or thought? The human mind is a collection of bundled up sensory nerves which determine the surrounding enviroment through ELECTRICAL signals. Well, I do not know which is faster, electricity or light, but my money is on light. Anyway, I believe that the connections can possibly slow the signals seeing as how some may be damaged or some may speed them up. Depends on the person. I would personally like to know this. the only thing that could make the signals faster is if the liquids that are in our system somehow speed up the signals. But i'm not sure so someone give me your theories, or if it's proven somewhere help me out.

Ok, but electrical signals are probably much faster in liquids. But thats not the point. I'm sure light is faster than regular electricity. But what about in the mind? Does it travel with more speed across living tissue coated in fluids as a conductor? I need to know because of my psychology class. The human mind fascinates me seeing as how it is capable of SO much. I just wish I knew more about it.

light does.

even if electricity traveled fast enough (techniscally its the movement of a charge down an axon due to depolarisation and some shit ove forgotten (:woried: ) it still has to go through a synapse where the electrical signal is converted to chemical, then diffueses a little then back to electrical

light is faster

Thats what I needed to hear. You just have to wonder sometimes, it's an argument that thought even travels, But I do know things have to travel for thought to occur. By the way.... Where did you learn that stuff Dan?
