it's 78 degrees and sunny.
I'm going to a neighbor's house for a bbq- they've been cooking ribs in a smoker all day. i'm bringing pasta salad and a bluecheese dip.

i'm currently having a glass of awesome wine, and i'm about to run the dogs around, play with the horse, and then put on some new shoes I got at kohls for $9 (some crazy sale and i had a $10 coupon).

i slept late, worked out, took a nap.

AND ... because it's a 3 day weekend, today feels like sunday and it's NOT!!!

SO true! i walked up to the newspaper machine this morning, with 8 quarters in my hand for the sunday paper, looked into the front window and thought "WTF...that's yesterday's newspaper! they didn't stock this box again!" :laugh2:
 
today is going good too! woke up late, showered, it's beautiful out. going out to breakfast and then the garden store for some pond plants.
 
I am going to a carnival!
I will eat a giant pretzel (maybe a giant pretzel on a stick) and ride on 48 rickety rides, and maybe pet a goat.

You know, maybe that's what I need. I always LOVE the annual Texas State Fair, but that's not until September.

Yeah, I have to wait until August for a State or County Fair, so this will have to get me through the next month. But they have Monster Truck rides!!!

You mean they let you climb up into one of those trucks with the crazy wheels?!?! I've never been to one of those events. Mebbe one day. I'll put it on my bucket list. LOL
