BTW, Big_J., today, as you know, was bis and tris. I think you gave me really good advice. I was able to work them much harder since I wasn't as tired as when I work them with my chest or shoulders. Thanks.

I do a 4 on 1 off split like this.......

chest and abs
back, shoulders, and traps
bi's, tri's and abs
legs, lower back, forearms.

REST DAY

and start the cycle over again.

Nope...... Just do one exercise per muscle group and do them every day.... Like Happy Scrappy.. Do biceps everyday for hours....... you will get a great pump:cyclops:

Seriously tho, I go with 3 or 4 different exercises per muscle. try to hit it from as many different angles as I can.

For Bi's I do
Preacher Curls 4 sets
Incline DB curls 4 sets
Barbell Curls 4 sets
Hammer Curls w/ a twist 3 sets

I would suggest 3-4 sets of a given exercise with 15+ reps. You could do a total of 6 sets between two exercises, that works well. I am not sure of your current shape, but i would do 2 exercises. Then, you should change those exercises every month or so to shock your muscles into responding.
 
throw in 21's and drop sets for bis every now and then, my bis are fucking killing me right now
