Letter from Art Atwood

There has been a little confusion of late with a poster on the EF site claiming to be Art Atwood. I wrote to Art to verify whether or not he was posting on the EF.

Art told me he does not post on Elite Fitness, and when he does post on sites he only does it under his own name. He wanted to clarify that the poster on this site claiming to be him is an impostor.

He wrote me the following:

"Thanks for the update Kirk. NO, It's not me. I only post under my name and
only occasionally on getbig.com.
I appreciate you alerting me to this! If you could, please let people know
it's not me. I would never post under any name but my own! Thanks a mil, ART ATWOOD"

Thanks SofaG and WarLobo. You both always come up with some good info. You have to figure that there are several users with multiple screen names. Of course if you are at work, you can just hop onto another computer and get a different IP address and thus making even harder to determine split personality members.

yeah, you're correct. the only thing is, there are a couple of guys here (at work) that are on elite. i hope they don't do something like that and then my subnet will point to me as a possible dumbass.

The whole situation just really pissed me off. I worked out at Gold's Venice for about 10 years. I know or have met most of the pros... and count some of them among my close friends. Getting your pro card is a tough long haul goal, and regardless of whether or not you are a fan of bodybuilding - you have to respect the kind of work and dedication it takes to reach that goal. Having some poser pop on the boards and ride someone elses efforts is about as lame as it can get.
