Let's talk about something else besides LOVE

the dental nurse hit one me ohh wait, that was the best. Umm... wisdom teeth removal? yeah, that's it.

Four reconstructive surgeries to rebuild my receding gum line from connective tissue mined from the inside roof of my mouth during the same 4 operations, the first without getting knocked out. Then the successive 2 months of recovering on a liquid diet w/ stitches in my mouth.

Speaking of wisdom tooth removal here is a scary story!!!

Man bleeds to death after wisdom tooth extraction
December 16, 2004

A man bled to death overnight after having a wisdom tooth removed at the dentist, a British inquest was told today.
Robert Braber, 59, was found dead in bed in August, the morning after the extraction, by his wife Jane at their home in Prestwood, Buckinghamshire.

The self-employed pensions adviser swallowed around three litres of blood and was found on a blood-soaked mattress, the inquest at Amersham Courthouse heard. Jane Braber, 54, was not in court but said in a written statement that her wheelchair-bound husband went to the dentist after complaining of toothache.

He had the infected tooth removed, left the surgery with his mouth padded with wadding and had also applied a bag of frozen peas to stop the bleeding during that evening.

He went to bed thinking the flow had been stemmed, but his wife of 14 years said that, when she went downstairs to his bedroom the following morning, she found he had bled to death. "Robert was lying on his side facing me with his legs out of the bed as if he had sat up but felt dizzy or weak and fallen down," Braber said. "I could clearly see blood on his pillow and I later realised that blood had also gone through the mattress."

Pathologist David Bailey, of Wycombe General Hospital, said Braber was found with one litre of blood in his stomach and two or three litres in his bowel. Three litres of blood is around 75 per cent of the total circulation in the body, he added.

Recording a verdict of accidental death, Buckinghamshire Coroner Richard Hulett said this was "an unusual and rare cause of death".

ok the about 10+ years ago the fucker didn't freeze me right and came at me with a drill that looked the size of a shoebox!! He started drilling and I almost ripped the arm rest off the chair!

I am surprised I still don't have flashbacks off the whirring sound then pain :eek2:

The Giants suck so much they make the Cowboys look good.

Thanks.

I had one trip where they didnt wait for the freezing to kick in before they started to drill,it fucking hurt,I was like 5 and didnt go back to the bastard for a entire year I was so terrified, then my pops dragged me

I had a wisdom tooth coming in, and my gum was infected, my face was swolen because of it, I went to the dentist, and he decided to pull the tooth while my gum was infected. He also did not freeze the area because of the infection.

Then gave me antibotics and painkillers. The painkillers were so strong I couldn't walk straight, I was literally falling all over the place. During the night I got up to go to the washroom, and I fell on the floor in there, my mom heard the noise and woke up, when she came in the washroom, to pick me up off the floor I started freaking out cause I didn't recognize her and didn't know where I was. She called the dentist the next day, and it turned out that he accidently gave me the wrong dosage.

I was in pain for 3 weeks. This all happened when I was 16, needless to say I still hate going to the dentist.
