let acne clear before startin a cycle??

I am currently using tetracycline and retin-a cream for my acne. I have been doing this for about 3 weeks (and it looks like it is clearing up a bit), and I am supposed to continue for 3 months.

My question is: I am planning to do a cutting cycle before vacation (July 5). The cycle will be 6 weeks long. Should I start the cycle now, then hopefully the acne meds will keep most of it away. Or should I wait until closer to the date when the acne is mostly gone to do my cycle.

My thought is this: If I end my cycle right before vacation, what will I do if the cycle causes acne? But if I start the cycle now, I would have time after the cycle to get rid of the acne before vacation.....

(Maybe I'm biased because I just want to be on....)

Tetracycline decreases anabolism. Use low dose accutane while on the juice. Problem solved, have fun.........

I don't know about that... I wouldn't use accutane, even at low doses during a cycle.....Especially since my cycle is going to have winny in it....

What is your source for the comment that tetracycline decreases anabolism??? (not that your the only one who has said it before... but I am wondering where I can find some info on this)

Also, do you have any personal experience with this situation??

dont know about the tetracycline and anabolism but i know you shouldnt mix tetracycline with accutane. also if you have acne now most likely its going to get worse when you start juicing. it doesnt matter if you clear it up now with the tetracycline or not. good luck

i think accutane while on cycle is fine, just stay away from any orals as they will increase liver toxicity and that will show up in your blood test and your doc will discontinue imediately.
