Hey everyone, I'm still alive, just not posting so much anymore. This place is just so full of sin! All the homosexuality, sex, drugs and drinking, vainity, and more!
Anyway, here is my personal statement of faith for anyone who cares! I don't know about you, but it makes PERFECT sense to me!!!!
The Bible is the fully inspired Word of God without error in original text, final authority for faith and practice of believers. One God consists of three persons equal in essence and attribute, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God created the heavens and earth from nothing, speaking them into existence. Satan, a created angel disobedient to God, became the enemy of his Creator, ruling as the god of this age and of the powers of darkness destined for eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire. The first man, Adam, created in innocence, willfully followed in Satan’s disobedience and was spiritually severed from god. All people share in this depraved state of being and are under God’s just condemnation without excuse. Jesus Christ, eternal Son of God and man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died as a substitutionary and expiatory sacrifice to save man from his sinful condition. He arose bodily from the dead and will come again to establish His kingdom on earth. Salvation, the effect of regeneration by the Spirit and the Word, not by works, but by grace through faith, is a free gift of God. Believers are eternally secure in their salvation, unbelievers are eternally separated from God. The Church, local and universal body of believers, waits for Christ’s imminent return.
