Any one else on here Catholic? Well for those of you who aren't here is the 411 on Lent. Lent is a time where we prepare for the death and then resuraection of Jesus. Easter sunday is the celebration of Jesus' assention into Hevean. So Catholics give up someting during lent to show that they are commited to the path of rightousness. Well I normally blow this off and give up something that i won't really miss, this year I choose another route. I am giving up something that I need everyday. Yet I know it is a bad habit and needs to end. I am giving up smoking. Any ways i was wondering if anyone else is giving up something for Lent and if so what?
