off the health canada site health can question 10 , it says steroids are legal to posess but illegal for the purposes of traficking, so what would happen if you were caught buying them ?

you are allowed,whats called a personal amount, I think there is a limit of what you can have before its called trafficing, but I have had my shit seized at the border, and they let me have it due to the fact that it was only enough for personal use. But I did get a stern letter warning me of the dangers of steroids and non prescibed medicine.

Really? I'm surprised they let you have it. Just curious, how much gear was that (I know it was a personal amount, but would like to know how much)

You can have a personal 3 month supply, which is determined by what the dosage is on the med. Example. You have a bottle of pills, for dosage, it reads, "Take one tab daily". You can have 90 pills then.

Rjl296: You are correct. You can possess them, but it's illegal to buy or sell them. Does that make sense? No, but that is the way it is. If you get caught buying them, a personal amount, I doubt anything would even come out of it. Even if you get caught selling it, the punishment isn't too severe, so buying a personal amount would be even less. I know a guy that got busted twice for selling, and I don't even think he did any jail time... I don't know the whole story though, so I can't give any specifics.

The notion of personal possession is vaque and it is left to the police authorities.

So if you get caught with 100 amps, a cop can say ok it is for you or it can declare you intend to distibute.

Perso Possesion is legal, there no law that say what it is.

Buying and selling steroids is illegal, usually it will be a fine between 400-1200$.
only big amount will be charged and will see jail time.

because this seem slike a really insevere punishment, i'm sure it depends on the jurisdiction, but getting busted twice for actually trafficking a controlled substance, schedule A drug, and got no time???
