Lawyers suck

I paid my lawyer $1000 in order to submit an early termination for my probabtion. Sure, they were all hard up about getting the money, but after 3 weeks, I called her, only to find out that she's out on maternity leave. Not even notifing her clients or anything. What kind of shit is that? Sucks.

When I got into the bullshit trouble that I did, I hired a lawyer, he was $3500 and he did not do shit, a public defender could have done better then what he did. He was late on 2 different occasions and was basically a shitty lawyer.

How do you all look for your lawyer? How do you know that he will work for the amount of money that you pay him? The first lawyer, I called around. The 1st one was $1000, 2nd was $3500, and 3rd was $5500. I didn't want to go with the cheapest one, as you get what you pay for, thinking that I'd get better, but I was wrong.

What is your current lawyer doing wrong? Other than having a baby?

Also, what would your sentence have been if you had not had any assistance whatsoever?

I don't have any problem with her having a baby. I think it's just right that when you promise a client that you will get back with them within a few days, that it means what it meant. Not when the client calls and find out that she's been out since the day after I spoke to her. It was anticipated, so don't let the customer hang.

As for what my sentence may have been, well, I don't really want to go into detail about what happened here on the board. I do know that he did not do his job. This was told to my by a court judge and a few lawyers.

Thats nothing, my stupid ass lawyer was suppose to object to a case and told me he was on top of it. He's always loosing paperwork, etc(i think he fucking has brain cancer) and he ended up not taking it back to court within the time frame. Now another laywer says it may be to late. This is about a 35k deal. I swear to god I am going to sue that motherfukers ass if I dont hear something positive out of him tommorow. I hope I can contain myself, I could end up in jail and theres plenty of people Id like to kill worse than this jackoff.

my lawyer didn't show up for a traffic ticket a few weeks ago. lucky the judge said they would make a different court date. lawyers are almost as bad as pigs.....they tell you just want you want to hear to get your money.
