Law in Canada

Just wondering if anyone is aware of what the law around gear is in Canada....I know it's not viewed nearly as seriously here as south of the border, I've even read that possession isn't a criminal offence. I don't plan on letting the law affect my goals in the gym, just curious what I am risking?

Thanks, I found that it is a section 3 drug, which doesn't sound real serious, but I can't seem to find anything on penalties. Big surprise Canadian laws are written so dry, boring, and hard as hell to understand!!

its my understanding that you can have gear here for personal use but not to deal,dealing is what gets u in jail

yeah, in canada it is legal to posess but not to sell, and you can't have amounts that would hint at intent to sell...

Also depends on what kind of pricks....uh...pigs...uh cops(ya that was it) nails you. Some are out to make your life hell some just don't give a shit. My friend was busted a few years back for weed. The worst off is that they nailed him for a butt of a joint. THERE WAS NO WEED LEFT. The arrested him. Kept him in jail most of the night then released him and he had to show up in court. Got a fine only. But shit just goes to show you that if the cops are out to make your life hell they will find a way. Just be careful with this stuff you never know what kind of ass you may get nailed by. I really can't understand how we let these guys get away with telling us what we can and cannot put in our bodies. Yet they allow cigarettes and alchool to be legal. I really wonder what's more dangerous. Isn't there like over 400 DIFFERENT chemicals in a cigarette. Sorry guys but I'm ranting now. This stuff kinda really ticks me off. Live and let Live...that' my motto!!!!
