Latest Developments In Supplements.

I'm doing some research on supplements for an independent company, and would like to know what you think about the following:
1. What are the most promising developments in supplements? i.e N.O potentiators, CEE, etc.
2. What is an area and/or supplement which you think is most likely to become the "next big thing"?
3. What areas of bodybuilding do you believe have not been tapped in to sufficiently by supplement companies? (i.e: Sleep potentiators, etc.)
4. Which supplement delivers the most "bang for buck"?
Answers to these and any other comments truly appreciated.
I look forward to hearing your views!
KARMA TO GOOD REPLIES!
Thanks,

E.G

1. i like the idea of 6-oxo/ formestane type products, i think there is some merit to these products short term.

2. As for the next big thing...a different carbohydrate source in meal replacements, i am working on this one as i type. most current brands use maltodextrin or dextrose, the one i am working on will be lower GI and have some extra "benifits"interaction with activity of 3HSD and/or 17HSD, will need to be in single serve sealed packets because of quick oxidation. I kind of like the idea Patrick Arnold used on his mass meal product with the use of brown rice powder, his inovations never cease to amaze me.

3. customer education about safety of products. also there are too many novelty products out there

4 protein powder/ meal replacement supplement.

Good info here buddy...thanks for your views.
I totally agree about the Carb source in powders. Over here in the U.K we have a great company called Reflex Nutrition...they use Oats and Barley for their carbs which taste great and are very low GI.
As for the Formestane type products.....do you think these are still applicable to the "non-steroid using" market?
Karma coming your way!

formestane type products are generally targeted towards the PH user industry, as well towards others who want to use it as a stand alone product. speaking generally, the united states has an epidemic of overweight individuals(I think the UK is starting to get up there as well) who think that the cause of their weight problem is estrogen/estradiol when in fact in some cases is the result of obesity that may raise estro, therefore they will try a supplement that claims to reduce it. the "fatburner" and aromatase/estro block/inhibitor market and the supplements that go along with it will never die as long as people are overweight. i wish i could get into the structure function relationship of these types of products for you, but it is not my speciality area and i dont want to talk without backing up with facts. the last thing this industry needs is people with no formal understanding of certain subjects claiming to understand all...some members of the avant labs forum seem to have a deep interest and understanding of the whole formestane type products, you should check it out. it is my favorite forum to browse through(even though i dont post there),,very interesing and knowledgable members there.

your friend, lanky
