I think it would be best if a universal form of sign language was to be taught in schools throughout the world, secondary to each nation's birth language.

I think it would be a huge step forward for interpersonal communications.

Just my idealism, I suppose.

Actually IMHO it borders on criminal that a second language is not taught in US schools from kindergarten on. It is a proven fact that a child loses the ability to learn languages with ease by the age of 6 or so. It has something to due with the development of how the brain functions.

A universal sign language would actually be quite useful and helpful on so many levels.

But yes, you are quite right. Idealistic.

hey man, i took 4 years of latin.
