However inside the site I could not find any smart search. you have to know exact words to find similar topics

Maybe its my old age, but no way do I go to bar or club expecting to meet anyone that wants a long term relationship (after work happy hours, are an exception). The type of man I want in a relationship wouldn't be there. Besides, I don't think you can fairly size someone up in a 5-10 min convo, dancing under flashing lights and under the influence of alcohol.

As far as "sizing" someone up that I may meet someplace else (library, coffee shop, while shopping, etc.), the most I will do is size up whether or not I want to talk to them again based on the conversation we had . . . just take it slow from there.

It takes a lot longer than 5-10 min. conversation to come to a point where you feel this person is the one you want to build a relationship with.

I am not so sure that all women would agree with you answer. What you described here is a guy who tries way too hard to look successful and trendy. It gets to the stage where its actually a turn off to see a man boasting about his gagets, becoming too effeminate/excessively refined. I am the woman not him!!! ( I am taken but this is just an example.)

Preferences differ. For example someone who wears jeans and a clean shirt with stubbly beard would be more appealing to some girls who do not need the "metrosexual" look to bring them to a certain social status. More like the arty type or the humorous types who have nothing to prove. They are probaly the smart, successul guys who drink alone at the end of a bar and do not flirt. A short smile and a nod will probably get you a modest more serious girl who is not after riches.

Has nothing to do with being too good. I never questioned anyones character in my post. That said, no man in a club is looking for a relationship. A one night stand. A hook-up. An easy fuck. Yes. A LTR? No.

When I was partying, I wasn't looking for one either. I got all of that out of my system and then wanted to be part of a committed situation.
