2 cops, came to my door and said a woman around the block said she saw one of the boys that lives in my house steal a bicycle.

huh. today?

yes, about an hour ago. I said they've all been here.

they said the woman described the boy in detail and said he was short with blond hair.

well, Ha. you can't get any more opposite if you tried. They asked to see the kids.

so i take them around back, where there were 5 kids playing football, muddy as can be.

i call three of them over- the three that live with me.

one is 6'1, 14, with brown hair.
the next one is 6', 15, with black hair.
the short one is 5'6", 17, with black hair.

the cop asked who the other kids where, even though they weren't blond either.
some neighborhood boys- both pakistani or something.

cop left in embarassment.
