bro, we don't want to lose you on the first day you are back.

YOu gotta take things slow, ease into the racial and nasty humor.. this place has softened up a bit over the last couple of years and you can't just come on here guns blazing like that.. believe me, I know this firsthand. You gotta walk on eggshells for a bit, come in all delicate like.. and then and only then will you be free to express yourself how you see fit.

LOL @ being delicate like. I argued with you (remember your fried chicken thread), Division, SoKlu (and probably a few other people) when I first started posting in C&C. I'm all for stereotypical & sexist humor, but when it crosses over to hate, well then I can understand the need to tone it down (this is an INTERNATIONAL site, btw).

That said, people should be allowed to be free without a bunch of nimwads dropping bombs. In only 5 months, I have seen this forum go from active debating & quality pwning to nothing but LOOK AT ME Threads, Appreciation Threads and posts created by people that have absolutely nothing intelligent & witty to say.

If new (or old) controversial blood will get this place going again, I say leave them alone.

This place is a ton softer than just a year ago when I joined. Back then Chef was bumping his own pants poopery threads, and now it seems like you almost get banned for dumb shit like that. We do have the option to stop reading if we don't like it and it doesn't hurt anyone? Right?

when i was here in 2000 to 2003 everybody had guns. this time i,l ease in with a water gun. Now speaking of water sports, anyone like their girlfriend to pee on them in the tub or shower???????????????

I agree, some new blood would be nice.

The appreciation threads and attention whoring is born out of boredom I think.. there really isn't much going on.. JA is gone.. DIV gone... HighIntensity.. outta here.. those people gave us something to argue about, someone you love to hate ya know?

And I agree, fuck hate threads, I hate going to other sites and seeing shit like that.. my fried chicken thread was meant in jest.. its a stereotype, but not a hateful or harmful one I think.. I was just watching Dave Chapelle the other day and he has a whole bit on Fried Chicken and Watermelon and why does that seem so strange, who DOESN'T like it? my point being, I think that with all the questionable shit that surrounds this site, is it really that big of a deal for a dude to make a joke about teachig his daughter how to use a tampon?

Same goes for flaming, there is a line, of course.. its ok to call Dunk a guido and make fun of him being Italian or whatever.. but its not ok to make fun of other things? If someone comes on here spewing white power hate shit, band him.. but if he makes an off color joke... just bomb him if you feel the need.

did you ever even give me an explanation though? I was near USC over the weekend.. its in a not so nice part of LA... chicken places on every corner.. Popeyes.. El Pollo Loco.. Kentucky Fried... Church's.. etc... they all have "GRAPE DRINK" at the soda fountain too

that chickin thread was anything but conclusive. I still have a couple of theories on that one. We need to complement it with a watermelon thread as well

I think it's funny that all over the boards people are making fun of gays, mexicans, people of middle-eastern ethnicity, etc, but as soon as someone makes a slight comment against a black person the mods go nuts. I think some mods are getting a little too big for their britches around here. Settle down, it's the internet. Even right now there is a post with a title containing "fuggin' guidos". How is that not racist? But that is okay apparently.

I didn't see the thread but mexicans LOVE El Pollo Loco, it's all our tile workers would eat every day. Every day, El Pollo Loco. Like clockwork. Don't know about the grape soda, but orange soda yes. One night I had them all working pretty late, like midnight, sort of an emergency so don't call OSHA, but so I ordered them a pizza, one of them looked at like it was a UFO. Sorry, El Pollo Loco doesn't deliver! He actually told me he had never eaten pizza before. I asked if he liked it and he thought it was "so-so" :)
