Knee trouble

The wierdest thing has been happening to me today while I was working out my legs. I've been getting knee pains in both knees on the inner part of the joint. This pain seemed to come out of nowhere, I don't even recall injuring it. I feel it when I do squat motions also when I go somewhat heavy on leg press. I've been wearing Converse allstar shoes for the past year, which do not have much of an arch in the shoe. Could that be a factor in knee problems? Also do knee problems sneek up on people like this? I'm thinking since I've gained 70lbs in the past year and a half maybe thats contributing also. I'd appreciate any input you guys have available. Thanks

I would watch your knees when you are doing squats and hack squats and stuff... It's bad if your knee goes past the line of where your toes are on the ground, you may experience pain from a movement like that if your knee is past where your toes are, and there is certainly unneeded and unwanted stress being put on the knees when you do that.

Will I've been so aware of that too, making sure not to cross the line of my toes. Especially doing anykind of squats/leg press. By the way your bryce work is pretty cool, saw it on your website earlier today.

oh.. lol, thanks :) I've just started messing around with brycet, I'm getting into 3d studio max now too :) I love that stuff. hehe. :)
Ill bump this for ya for more answers.

Im in the shoe business(repair) and I do a lot of orthopedic adjustments on shoes for anything from knee pain to hip adjustment corrections. The type of shoe can definitely cause knee discomfort when applying high stress activity. Lack of proper arch support can displace stress on the foot and even effect the knee. Get a well arched sneaker or an orthodic insert and it can make all the diffference. I see it every day.

Thanks, Marky I'm going to get a pair of gym shoes and some inserts for my casual shoes. The guys over on Triedia seem to think I could have a minor tear in my miniscus. When my insurance settles I'm going to go see a doc.
