I really like your new avafarmatar. Im wondering what kind of farmers walk implements those are. Ive never seen that kind before. Did u have them made?

ALso, how much weight is that cuz it doesnt look like that much. Maybe cuz Im used to seeing log-type implements and yours look like a barbell. Either way, I know youre not a slacker, and I think you can use alot more.

And finally, have you ever competed or are you training for a competition right now? Im a huge Strongman fan so Im just curious.

my guess was 25 lb. plates on an ez-curl bar which would be about 70 lbs. per arm

she says you should use 45 lb. plates I think that's what she's saying anyway
 
look like ez-curl bars to me. that's what you call improvising, overcoming and adapting. good job bee!
 
No, Im not calling him out Id never do that, well not to Killah anyway cuz he's good orb. Im just saying I know he is stronger than that and Im sure that avatar pic is not a max effort action shot is all. If it's 70 lbs per arm, then he should be sprinting LOL

EZ curl bars - 40 lb plates bought at the second hand store.

I am rehabbing a rot cuff tear, so no real heavy weights just yet. I started getting into strongman recently and decided to train with some "amateur" implements just for fun. It turned out to be a ton of fun and I would like to compete in the futre (distant future). First, I need to get my shoulder back to 100% and then I need to get bigger and stronger. For now it is just another way to train that makes me happy. Eventually I would like to compete. Also, eventually I wouls like to kiss you. Thanks. :heart:

wow, that's great. i forgot that you had that injury i remember reading your training log. strongman is the bomb. it's a sure fire way to increase your strength on many levels. and it's fun as hell. good luck and you'll be back to 110% with no problem.

Did oyu find a group to train with or are you training on your own?

It would be fun to train like that if I could find a group of people who did it

There are some heads around here, but for right now until my strength gets back to where it should be, I am flying solo. As soon as I feel comfortable, I would definitely like to train with a crew. You need to. For the implements and for the support.
