I can't answer the first one..but I'll say this.. lots of people will tell me that bodybuilding/weightlifting in general is not safe or healthy. People are appauled when I tell them that I don't reguarly eat milk or fruit. Yet, I laugh when I see them go off to Mc Donalds to fill their arteries with grease and chug down that extra large coke. So take everything you hear as a grain of salt. Anyhow, I hear that you shouldn't go on CKD is you have an existing kidney condition, but that's all that I can answer, as i don't know too much about ckd, and I've never been on one myself.
To answer yoru second question: people say that you will get a strange metallic taste when you're in keto. Also your breath and urine supposedly smell bad, or worse than before.
