Ketogenic weight loss consistency?

On any diet, you might hold weight for a while and then have a WHOOSh! where 2-3 pounds drop seemingly overnight. On a ketonic diet this seems to be the norm, rather than a rarity. When I participated in the low-carb newsgroup, people reported this all the time.

If you're building muscle and burning fat at the same time, your weight can indeed stay the same on the scales, but your clothes will be looser.
 
I'll echo some info:

CKD is not consistent in terms of "scale weight" but it's pretty much consistent when it comes to results. For example, you can stay at 200lb on CKD, while at the same time loosing 2lb of fat and gaining 2lb of muscle. It's really hard to tell at times.

on atkins without carbs.. I dropped 2 lbs a week for 6 straight weeks... thats 12 lbs and I cut my bodyfat 6%,

thats incredible enough for me!
