i don't know if they have them around any of you guys, but a buddy of mine owns a kava bar right off the beach. They just serve kava kava....the place is all decked out all fijian style, it's a great vibe

It gives you a great buzz...you're relaxed and uninhibited, and if you puff some herb afterwards it just amplifies it.

good alternative to drinking alcohol on a slower night. no cals, and you sleep like a baby.

tastes like butt....but it's like taking a shot.

only bad part is a place like that attracts either a.) really cool people or b.) fuckin weirdos. no in between

it's a diuretic too.....so you have to drink plenty of water when you drink it.
The studies done were pretty fault from what i've read.
the pills are not the same as the actual root mixed with water. there's preparation involved. the effect is totally different actually..
