been doing a little bit of reading old threads lately, and stuff like that, and came across the topic of kate moss being anorexic...but i dont know, my little sister for one used to look like her and it had nothing to do with not eating, just cause she is a hardgainer (so to speak).

what are your opinions on kate moss and her image, etc

I prefer girls that at least have enough muscle to support their skeletal structure. But that's just me.

I don't like to come down hard on Kate herself (cause she'd probably shatter.. haha.. errr), because its the fashion industry that made her image "ideal" back then. There will always be really skinny people, fat people, and everything in between.. it's just up to the media and fashion industry as to which image they want to brainwash the general public with.

just curious, i was too young to remember what 20something life was like in the early 90's, but those ck pics of kate moss and mark wahlberg, was that like an ideal of bodies for those men and women back then that caused teenaged boys to do steroids and girls to starve themselves (supposedly)

Perhaps. She was pimped heavily by CK, but caught flak for her waifness.. maybe adding to her popularity. Most girls are mindless drones for fashion & media, so I'm pretty sure lil' Katie inspired many a kneeling before the porcelin throne.

I dunno.. I didn't really get caught up in it too much. I know what I like and don't really give a crap with the flavor of the month is. But I always enjoy watching the media control the way people live their lives.. its pretty funny.

brainwashing is a powerful tool. anorexia is a big problem, but so is muscle dismorphia for some people. would mark have ever became famous if he looked like this: (still bigger than brad pitt)

I think any obsession in body image can lead to problems.. physically, mentally, and emotionally. But for the most part, muscularity is thought of as healthy.. whereas being very skinny (such as Kate was) is considered unhealthy. In reality though.. someone could have Marky Mark's body and be totally fucked up internally and die when they're 40, or have Kate's physique and be perfectly healthy.

I doubt she's anorexic, btw. Then again, the modeling industry is fucked up, so who knows...

Marky Mark, although a decent actor, looks like an complete asshole in both those pics. Wouldn't mind having his abs though.

Just thought I'd mention that Smallmovesal really is natually thin. I can attest that her diet consists lagely of fast food and similar shit, so it's not that she doesn't eat enough calories.

I've also seen pics of her mom when she was younger. HOLY SHIT, THAT IS ONE HOT MOM!! Can you say MILF? If my mom looked like that, I'd be a motherfucker.

Mom actually has viens on her arms and a six-pack. Smalls obviously gets her frame from her moms side, although she's downright fat compared to her mother.
