Karma: Friend or Foe?

In theory, Karma was a great idea and a fun way to tell who was cool and made good posts and who was a jerk and made bad posts. Now, I feel it has become an avenue for people to abuse Elite Fitness and people that are different from them. It has become a way for someone to sling nasty remarks, anonymously and also remove good karma points unjustifiably. Now my question to you folks is:

A. Should we keep karma as it is.
B. Change Karma so that it is signed every time (if possible)
c. Eliminate Karma, altogether.

Whatever choice is most popular, I consider it a petition to Mr. Spellwin, himself.

Why can't karma have an auto signature? I read other post saying it's not possible which isn't true. We can't post or reply anonymously so the system obviously has the capabilities.
