those guys stayed pretty cut all the time... damn.

makes me want to lift.

the people I watched it with walked away with a totally different take on it than I did. they were saying freaks and stuff, and I was just like... damn, I wish I looked like that.

Good flick..they used to show it in its uncut version on the USA Network back in the early cable TV days.
I remember watching it when I was around 14 and hearing Arnold comparing the 'pump' to 'cumming' and I said to myself at the time "No wonder he got so f***ing big"
Yeah, at that time I thought Arnold was huge, but getting used to seeing the guys of today, he doesn't look as big to me now, which is kind of weird.

I don't like the look of the guys today - but to each their own.
but would kill a nun to look like arnold.

I watched the uncut version.

laughed a lot and felt bad for some of the guys - so many guys were just dicks

would love to know how they trained, what they ate, and what drugs

Yeah, Anrold and boys back then had the right look.

Today everyone looks a bit too big. Don't get me wrong, they deserve props. Jay and Coleman have some FREAKY backs.

I agree. I don't want to look like the guys of today either. I've always been interested in that era of bodybuilding and have been trying to find out the same-how they trained, etc. Read Arnold's "Education of a Bodybuilder" and Dave Draper's book, but they don't really get into the real specifics of exactly what they did...and they can't mention drugs, of course
Mike Katz seemed like an good guy.....the rest were kind of pompous

And Bulletin To All Convents in the U.S.--WATCH OUT!!!!!!

I felt really bad for Mike Katz - seemed so nice.

I have the Encyclopedia of Modern BB here on my lap and I'm flipping for diets and such....
