I was working, before the mo comments start. Helping a buddy who runs a personal training business who had a booth promoting fat loss for brides. I got $20 an hour plus 20% of any package sold. Basically I stood there and chatted up the two female trainers for five hours while they did squats.
All I can say is wow, what a racket. Flowers, place settings, cakes, photographers, limo companies, honeymoon planners, DJ's etc. The booth next to us was a cake maker who had a Taj Mahal cake they sold for $2500.
And wow, what a smorgasbord for any single guy. Not the women at the show, but every vendor booth had at least two hot women who were mostly single and young and desperate to find a guy to fulfill all of their wedding dreams. Never mind the models walking around before and after the bridal fashion show. Hawt young poon as far as the eye could see.
I will never support that industry and it must suck for people who spent $30,000 on one day when they think back after the divorce.
