Just Cant figure the Joint soreness

I am 39 years old and have been using Glucosamine + Chondroitin + MSM along with Knox Nutra Joint (jelatin) for the past couple of years.

But for some reason in the last 5 or 6 weeks it seems as if every joint in my body hurts...most especially my knees, ankles, fingers, and elbows. It does not matter if I take a week off from workouts and cardio or not...I am getting plenty of rest (as much as usual). And I am NOT doing impact cardio.

I am almost at the end of my rope here. Workouts are becoming painful and for at least two days after a cardio session, I walk as if I am 80 years old.

Any suggestion?

Take my advice, drop the Glucosamine + Chondroitin + MSM go see an orthopedic Dr, tell him what's going on, get on Celebrex 200mg once a day, I've been on it for 3months and my joints are feeling great, trust me try it!!

sure drugs will help, but you want to get to the route of the problem. hopefully arthritis isn't setting in. I would recommend a chiro but good ones are few and far between, i think you should atleast check out a few different hollistic chiros, look for the ones that have been around the longest.

Have you taken much winny in your life?

I really did not feel any joint improvement with Deca when I tried it in the fall of 2004, but things were not really bothering me at the time either.

I don't lift too heavy, I dont think. I don't have spotters here at my home gym so I can't go too much LOL.

For example, last leg workout was 3X5 @ 380 lbs on Hack Squat
3X8 @ 500lbs on 45 degree Leg press, and finally 3X10 @ 120lbs on Leg extensions.
And I am only working each body part one day per week.

I woke up this morning and felt like an 80 year old man trying to get moving,

Its just cause you recently turned 39, and your body is freaking out that 40 is right around the corner!

*ducks*! :p :qt: :p

You could be right...but in my mind and bed...I feel 21. My wife keeps telling me that it is time to slow down. LOL I say Bulls*#!

I recently read up on joint pain and I picked up a few tips like the way we position our foot while walking/running and also there is a possibility that there is not enough muscle development to cope with the strenuous task you are trying to perform.

For me warm ups are very important for my right knee before I do cardio or else I will suffer greatly for days.

That makes a lot of sense, I can understand what could possibly cause knee soreness, if I am limping because of a bad ankle...but elbows and fingers hurting too?

might wanna give creatine a shot too. Just an idea, if i makes you hold water in your muscle there's a chance it might do the same for the joint. Ulter would know.

You may be experiencing a cortisol depression from that cycle. It jumps up during the cycle and stays post cycle and many times will then crash.
Is there any fix for this? I always thought cortisol was something that one did not want anyway???

What about the creatine idea? I did stop creatine at back in december, and have not used it again yet.

any suggestions?

Bro, I feel your pain. Same shit for me. Got I ache badly. Usually do a cc or so of Deca and do ok. Quit it before Dec. Then started some NPP a while ago, and planned on dropping it and doing some Alflutop before Summer. Man, I can hardly train legs now. I had a slightly tweaked left knee. Now they are both bad. I can't do a deep squat with my bodyweight. Lunges are impossible, etc. I upped my npp dose to 2x that of any nandrolone I have ever done and I feel no better. I gained some size, but I feel like I'mm 100yrs old.

Ulter, my cortisol is usually really high. (run hrt dose of test and 2-4 iu's year round) So can cortisol be my issue. If so, what can I do?? Oh, I also slacked on my good fats, so recently added a few tablespoons of Udo's.

Any help appreciated...

if it IS arthritis, celebrex has indeed done wonders for my pops.

Also, I've noticed that anavar really helps me w/ both healing injuries and reducing the "ache" of my bad joints (right knee, left shoulder). I also usually throw in some creatine when I run var, so maybe that's also helping, but even var alone significantly helped me rehab a few bad joints on more than one occasion. So if ya plan to run a cycle anytime soon, throw some ox in there bruh :p

Also curious to see replies about reducing cortisol.

peace

I used to love Ox, but can't run it anymore. Believe it or not, it bloats me and gives me nip issues. doesn't matter what brand, and yes, I test my gear. My body just stopped likeing it ??

Doc wanted me to try Phosphatidylserine. I stopped at Walgreens yesterday and they didn't have it so I have to go to a vitemin shop. I did buy one of the mass marketed cortisol lowering pills because it had Phosphatidylserine in it. I will get the specific pill though. I'll keep all posted....

Just an update on my joint issues. Cortisol lowering pills did nothing. Then tried Alflutop at the suggested 1cc/ed for 21 days. Nothing. Took a few days off and tried 2cc/ed for a few days. Bingo. Knees feel alot better. For example, I normally can't flex my quads without pain. Now I can flex them and go up stairs with just a tad of pain. Been about 4 days. I'm gonna run it for another week or so at the 2cc/ed and see what happens.

I also started seeing a chiro that does ART. Shit hurts but I'm gonna try it for a while....
