That's going to come as a surprise to many here who have been on as long or longer.

I watched it and just got kind of sad that he's been blacklisted and has pissed all of his money away.
The only thing that made me wonder is that he says he's broke and has all these problems but then they show him moving his stuff into a huge house and he put a years' rent down up front - shouldn't he be downsizing and cutting costs?

Seemed to come as a surprise to Canseco too. He always claimed, if you know what you're doing, the Juice will keep you young.
Now, amongst other things his pecker doesn't even work.
In my 40's now and being around this board, I have often considered adding test or HGH. If that's a consequence, no way is it worth it.
Never had an issue due to the GH nor has anyone I know.

He's obviously not the brightest guy.
Acted like a little kid naming names of stars who juiced instead of just admitting he was using. He had to say; these guys did it too as if to justify his actions.
Most people scoffed when his book came out but I think most of it was accurate.

I don't know enough about it. Limp dick is not worth trade off for bigger muscle.
Gh is not like AAS and is not just for bigger muscle esp. if you are over 35 many other good things.

I believe he got what he deserved. If he wanted to try to make money by ratting-out his friends, then he shouldn't be surprised when he's alone. I just hope he didn't make crazy money off that book.
And cmarc -- responsible, physician-supervised steroid use can be a very good thing for men who are 35+ (the 35+ is my personal bias). There are some very good anti-aging endocrinologists out there.

The only issue I have with him at this junction is that everyone close to him was telling him how big a jerk he was being and he continued to act that way. He has gotten so many second, third fourth.... chances to to do the right thing and continues to do the exact opposite of what the people that have tried to help him told him to do. His ego is why he is where he is. I jujst can't feel bad about that.

The shows on again tonight (BIO Station (Station 160 in my area). Tonight at 10:00pm (EST).....description given of the show is as follows; 'The former ballplayer decides to get clean after 24 hears of steroid use, but he is concerned about what may happen, as there is no documented cases of someone quitting steroids after such a longer period of use. I'm going to tune in just to check out the show but from the bio description they give for this show seems like there already making steroid use out to be some type of monster drug. Wish there were more documentaries like Bigger, Faster, Stronger giving the real-story on steroid use. I'm hoping the more knowledgeable people are on 'responsible use' in adult males and doctor supervision that some of the laws may change down the road. Can only hope something changes.......

Canseco gets money from his book sales. He endorses jet fuel gets paid to show up at bodybuilding expo's and shows.He also gets paid to train baseball players as a private coach.
What canseco considers " broke " is earning a few lousey 100k a year. Renting a 3,500 sqft compared to his 7,500sqft house ,Driving around in a leased benz rather then owning a garage with 4-5 100k cars sitting in it.
