I just finished watching players testify before Congressional committee on steroids in baseball. It was the best entertainment I've seen in a long time. Lots of grandstanding on both sides. Forget that congress has no business interfering in major league baseball, it was worth it to see the egomaniac Canseco come off like the premium-grade jackass that he is. He is not a very intelligent person and it shows.
Props to Mark McGuire for refusing to talk about his past. They were trying to get him to impugn his own record and he wasn't having any of it. Rafael Palmeiro is pretty pleased with himself and it shows. Sammy Sosa is just lost--its sad.
The highlight (for me) was when Curt Schilling called Canseco a liar. This is some pretty compelling stuff that will only be topped when the incompetent Bud Selig gets up there and trips all over himself.
If you can find a rerun, I highly recommend it.
