Making sure you have the building blocks of those tissues (glucosamine etc as well as vitamins/miners) is a good place to start, aside from that just lighten up on the loads and at all costs avoid anti-inflamatories. Regardless of what modern medicine would have you beleive anti-inflamatories are bad news for tendon/ligament damage. Tendons/ligaments are not vascualr and get little in the way of nutrients compared to muscle, they also have a very slow turnover rate (ie 300-500 days for normal cell replacement). This means they can not strengthen at anywhere near the rate muscles can and while tendon problems are a common occurence when on cycle. Simply lighten the loads a bit.
