Joint Pains????

hey guys i know youve heard this all before. i have some joint pains in my arms. my tendons are also hurting right before my bicep and my forearm. is there any supplements that will help me??? or is rest the only thing. what do all of you take that have joint pains. later. Wootoom
 
Making sure you have the building blocks of those tissues (glucosamine etc as well as vitamins/miners) is a good place to start, aside from that just lighten up on the loads and at all costs avoid anti-inflamatories. Regardless of what modern medicine would have you beleive anti-inflamatories are bad news for tendon/ligament damage. Tendons/ligaments are not vascualr and get little in the way of nutrients compared to muscle, they also have a very slow turnover rate (ie 300-500 days for normal cell replacement). This means they can not strengthen at anywhere near the rate muscles can and while tendon problems are a common occurence when on cycle. Simply lighten the loads a bit.
 
When does it hurt, all the time, only during certain movements...? It might have something to do with your form.

In the meantime, I go some interesting advice a while back from themachine, it worked wonders for some people I know...

It may be tendioites. I have a slight case in my elbow that flares up on occasion. I usually wear a brace (except for bi workouts). I have used and OTC suppl. called Therajoint by ISS. I thought it worked terrific.
