joint laxity?

frogleggs

New member
have any of you guys felt like your joints are "loose" or pop easy when on gear? My wrists and shoulders feel kinda unstable when I lift--

If lifts are increasing rapidly that may account for some of it. ANother thing is that cartiledge/tendons/ligaments are capable of holding a lot of water, it lends to flexability. When on cycle perhaps you hold a lot of water and its helping by allowing these tissues to store more water.

For me however, I usually feel stiff and that my joints are dry, no pain or anything just kind of stiff, but we are all different.

Or you might have what we call "benign hypermobility syndrome", sort of a lax ligament condition. But that should be noticeable off gear as well.
Can you extend your elbow past 180 degrees? Or pull your thumb down close along your fore arm?

yeah, I think that the ligs/tendons are holding more water and that makes them feel more lax-I don't have benign hypermobility syndrome--just seems like my joints are looser when on gear--
