Job Drug test

well i was at the final stages of becoming a CO, and now i am just about positive i will not get the job. They said there was a drug test, so i wasnt worried or anything, but when i went in, they test for EVERYTHING. They wernt just sayin it either, pissed in the cup she filled two tubes and packaged em seperate, said one is for drugs, and results are fast, the other is sent out to another lab in Vegas and will take awhile as they test for STEROIDS!!!! they also took a hair sample. My face dropped and my heart sank into my stomach as she said that shit. All for, a dumbass test cycle of just tbol. AHHHH im pissed, and becoming a state CO aint some quick apply take a test process, i been testing, waiting, interviewd, waited some more since march. DAMN!!!! Security guard it is i guess


on a side note, tbol only 4 weeks in of a 6 week cycle, gained about 10 lbs, lost some bf (not from tbol of course, diet), strength gains were ok, would be better if i ate more, and get more rest. Only negative side, is alittle restlessness at nite, and very minor bacne, nothing major just 3 or 4 zits.

man if u were goin to be one of them i would expect full testing. U got to be like a roll model and responsible to be one of them. And i would think its obvious they would check if u were using all kinds of drugs

well asking around, here, other boards, and seeing similar posts by law enforcement profesionals it was all pretty much similar answers all around.... that they do NOT do steroid testing. I should have know better, and used my gut, cuz i also thought most ppl were wrong and that they would test, especially for a criminal justice job. No one to blame but myself.

Not every department tests for steroids. Before applying for the position, this would have been a good question to ask. Stop your cycle right now and clean your system. When the lan results come back and they ask you about them, admit nothing, yell that the test was wrong and demand a new lab testing. All they can say is piss off, but I think you have a good shot at getting by.

my friend is a cop/juicer in the state i live in. i dont think they can test steroids through piss. not sure about the hair thing. if you looked jacked she could have just said that to you to mess with you. either way deny it and tell them the lab f***ed up and you want a retest. in this state they have to give you one. its worth a shot

I can tell you from ersonal experience that the majority of the departments in Nevada DO NOT TEST for steroids. A lot of the time the people drawing your blood and taking your urine have no idea what test(s) someone has ordered for you. The best thing is to admit nothing and demand new testing if it pops. They are required to ask you about it, so be prepared to answer questions, just in case. Hang in there and let us know how it all shakes down.

Generally , drug tests after you get the job will not invovle steroid testing.
You NEED to be clean before you get the job however.

Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp urine and hair tests are commonly used for local and state gov't jobs , not to mention the background checks go through the state police in the areas you mention.

good advice guys, looks like im off the tbol, going to demand another test, if anything. Good thing this shyt has a short detection time. Who knows mayb they will overlook the whole thing (doubt it). got my fingers crossed
