I was getting this chicken out of the oven (grilled it in a cast iron pan) and the pot holder slipped...so out of pure instinct I grabbed the pan with my OTHER hand to stabilize it. Holy shit that hurt. My hand is all red, hurts like the devil. There is no skin coming off it though, it appears to be 2nd degree. Shit.

This is why you should have an aloe plant in your house, just break off a piece and apply.

When it blisters you should pop it, so that you can wrap it and keep it clean, if it busts while you are doing something it could get kinda funky then you would have to scrub it, and that would feel like hell.
