Saw him on Larry King and He says he is now pain free.

I don't think the steroids they said he is on is the type you are thinking about, but I could be wrong.

He is on corticosteriods, an antiinflaitory that is CATABOLIC to muscle. Not anabolic steroids. He blames this on his weight gain but he has had problems with staying thin well before this.

Did he quit smoking recently? They may play a role in some weight gain, but he looks all out of control.

he had a problem with the deflation of his left lung. so the doc's put him on meds that one of the side is heavy weight gain.. I think he said he put on 53 lbs.. but it looks like more..

I was floored when I saw him..

i was floored too... he is on prednisone and if you have ever taken it before you know it makes you fat as can be.

Yes, prednisone sux - but the effects can be counter acted to an extent - there is no reason for that much of a gain. He is probably holding 50 lbs of excess water.
