They are now treating it as a race crime. The parents are claiming (of course) the kids were attcked first.

Also check out the story of the white guy who was attacked, stabbed, and beaten by a group of latino's who used racial epithets but the DA says it is not a race crime.

Race relations suck in this nation. statistically, white are victims of hate crimes like 17 times more than blacks. The press and the civil rights groups like to spin it around the other way though.

I've never understood the controversy of the "Jena 6". Six people ganged up and beat the hell out of one kid and they are getting punished for it. How are they getting the shaft? Come on, six against one in a fight! They deserve some prison time.
