java.lang.nullpointerexception error when accessing elite mail

well, I can tell you that you are getting it because they are setting up an object and initializing it to null and then later trying to populate it and then assuming that it is successful and continuing on - but for whatever reason your's isn't populating and they don't have code to check for that...

what that means to you - not a whole heck of a lot other than it won't work for you.

if it matters, I get the same thing.

Are you getting this exception before or after you've done the elite mail migration (the part where you put in your login/pw and move your mouse around and light up the pretty bar). I was getting some exceptions (yes folks... the grade A quality programming) before that but haven't gotten any recently.

I'd e-mail George or EF Chris about it with specifics as to when the problem happens so it's easier to find and fix.

Thanks Happy, at least I know that it's not just me.

Warik, I've already done the mail migration thingy. It worked great and my mail got moved and I was able to get it, but today when I tried to get in, it didn't work. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
