Was flipping thru the channels and caught the tail end of a new story saying that Jason Arntz got busted making steroids. Anyone hear anything more about this story?

has not hit any of the news websites as of yet...i will keep looking though....what the hell, did they break down his bathroom door??? i'm referring to the fact that they caught him "making" steroids, allegedly....

Whos Jason Arntz? Digress for a moment

An IFBB Pro. Seems like the Feds in the States are on fire the last few months busting people who deliver a relatively safe (but powerful) compound, instead of going after coke, ice, meth and ekky sources. What a waste of time/money.

It's true. Jay lives about an hour from me, and most people in New Jersey had heard about it before they got out of work and went to the gym.

It's not the first time he's been busted, though.

As long as you know the right people you can get away with murder, literally. Just ask OJ. But yeah, the only reason the feds are going after juice is because it's getting more popular and more $$ is involved. They could give a shit about your health, keeping it out of the hands of children, etc. The most crooked people on the earth wear a badge. I guarantee Artnz' stash is flowing through the veins of a handful of Garden State Troopers at this very moment. And also being sold out the back of their squad cars....

Being an ex-cop, I should resent that statement and I do....But it's true. My loyalty to police is to the good ones, and they are a minority. In every state there are nonsense laws, spitting on the sidewalk, etc. that aren't enforced because a police officer is allowed to use discretion. Cops need to deal with child abuse, meth makers, etc. in the order of priority. AAS and weed are not priority...

Well its easier to bust them than it is to go after the real problems..

Bro I will give you that some are worthless crooked scumbags, but the majority of them aren't...I grew up with some people who are cops now and they are in no way on the wrong side...I also think that there are much worse things they should be going after like rapist, murders, serial killers, meth makers ya know shit that effects everyone...But statemnts like yours are just like someone else saying all black dudes are thugs or all juicers have cock size or lack there of issues...blanket statements are never true..

My experience has been what I like to call the "normal distribution phenomena". I know many cops. I can count on one hand those who are decent guys. The rest are crooked, stupid, ex-high school bullies who have no real career aspirations and are fine with taking a decent salary to be a licensed tough guy in the towns they grew up in and will never leave for the rest of their lives. I call them like I see them.

But then again my only experience is in the actual state where Arntz was busted.

I know some cops who juice. They do it to hold their own better against bigger perps when it gets physical. I dont have a problem with it, but when they turn around and pop some guy for it - thats pretty messed up.

Some are assholes from the start, bullies with a badge. Some turn into assholes as they experience the scum of humanity night in and night out. Some are truly good people and you hope they're the ones that show up when you need them.

LOL I dont know any cops who DON'T juice. And sure, it behooves them to be that much bigger in their line of work. But we also have to remember it's not the local guys that are busting up these rings, it's usually DEA or feds. Hell, I know local cops who sell shit. It's really a broad spectrum.

Well said. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I've just had bad experiences, so my opinions are definitely skewed.

Big busts = publicity = perceived effectiveness = bigger budgets for the agency and promotions for the individuals.

Would you rather go after the armed and dangerous "criminal", who is either in a environment where the police have difficulty penetrating (streets codes of ethics), or are supported by large organizations (both inside the nation and from the outside), or the guy making stuff in his basement probably leaving a trail a mile long because of his inexperience in criminal activity? Especially when its a bigger news item?

We're not all that far away from the slippery slope leading to the kind of efforts used by cocaine and heroin manufacturers trying to get their stuff across borders. Swallowing condoms and stuff, lol. (Although the ability to manufacture this kind of stuff in our borders would probably negate the need for that kind of desparation importing, but who knows).

I agree. Anyone with a basic understanding of organic chemistry and basic lab methods/sterile technique can become the next BD, LSP, or whatever. The hard part is keeping your clientele select, and not letting it get out of hand. But yes, it's much easier to bust AAS dealers/makers. They're really sitting ducks. But to be honest, a lot of guys ask for trouble. Walking around jacked out of their mind with flashy cars, jewelry, etc. Then on top of all that actually making shit at home or selling it!!! My god, i know if you dont have another career bbing is probably the hardest thing in the world to do as a day job, but if it means selling shit to make ends meet, it's not worth it imo.

I agree with you 100 % coming from the same state as you. The bust was actually onlyl a couple of towns over from me. The cops in this state are all crooked. Like 52_21_30 said he can only count the good cops on one hand. It's true in these parts.

Arntz only helped with the knowledge of how to turn powder to product....
They were assistant coaches who were 'manufacturing' and 'distributing'...
Also it is kinda fucked up that they were selling to high school kids....

Exactly. You may not think what you are doing is wrong, but someone else does. And that someone else can put you away. You need to plan and act accordingly, or be smart enough to not go down that road altogether. And if you do, always keep the exit ramp in sight.

Yeah man. Gotta take the good with the bad in the greatest state in the Union!! By the way, I Pm'ed you back. Did you ever get it??

I don't know him personally but I have heard thru friends that Jason is a really cool guy... last I checked, this is not his first bust.

look at ronnie colmen he is juiced out of his mind and a cop and still has his job!!! you think they would test him and fire him ,or shearch his him for AAS and bust him "not"

OK I posted this thread to hear the details about the bust if anyone knew them not to get all over Law Enforcement. AAS is the flavor of the year, it used to be coke heroin etc. but now it is Juice. Whether we all agree all not the Federal Gov't made it a controlled substance and now it is open season. Lets face it guys the President spoke about steroids in one of his speeches. My advice is to weather the storm and be careful who you buy from because some one may be a cop or a rat trying to get out of a sentence. This too will pass.

im in chicago and there are at least 50% of cops who are extremely overweght and out of shape, so yes, it is easier to catch a gear source than to chase crack dealers down alleys and shit.....

i don't know him, BUT he has been busted before a few times, and w/ no or very little jail time, that spells shady fuckin rat IMO.

Ronnie retired from the Arlington PD 5-6 years ago, but yeah he was still 300+ lbs wearing a badge.

Actually, this was vaguely rec-drug related. They basically had a UG set up in the dudes house, and were about to start manufacturing Oxys and stuff along with their AAS.
