lol I know a lot of Asians from Markham, went to some Unionville school. It is so Asian there...and...I go to UWaterloo .
Regarding high schools, I went to Lawrence Park at Lawrence and Avenue...you will get a culture shock from going there. It's literally 85% white anglo-saxon protestant and Jewish. French Immersion gives you a license to go to any school that carries it.
Your sister must be smart.

LOL, yeah, Unionville HS has a HUGE Asian population.

if you wanna hear out of place... i live in rosedale but went to public school from jk-gr8 in downtown schools... i was one of 3 white kids in my class... one of maybe 60 in the whole school... i was there for french immersion too... asians love that french haha
lots of them at Western too, but nothing compared to waterwoo

It's probably cuz those things are so universal and not culturally specific as a language/history course

I don't know. I think he may have a point (in a way). I've seen others come to this country and own in one specific area, but not integrate themselves in the local culture or even try to adapt.
