Jack The Ripper was a Painter...

According to Cornwell. On Prime Time Thursday, it told how she spent 6 million dollars of her own money researching this.

The evidence:

The Painter was named Sickert who is highly collected today. He only painted what he saw and many of his painting were of the Ripper victims. Or models in the same way.

DNA on the Ripper's letter and Sickert's paintings matched.

In a hotel guest book that was signed Jack The Ripper, Sickert was staying in the same town and his pen and ink drawings were on the same page of the hotel register.

Other things that were revealed was that the Ripper killed more than 5 women. It was dozens and dozens. The only difference was that the police were ordered (by the Queen?) to NOT call them Ripper killings or publish anything else by him. In many cases the deaths were ruled suicide, even though the cause of death was disembowlment and slit throats. (some suicide method huh?)

Sickert moved to Paris for 8 years and the murder rate among prostitutes escalated immediatly after his arrival.

He moved back to London and within two weeks, a dead prostitute was found in his neighborhood, mutilated.

So?? Sounds possible?

Humm..here's a thought....how about spending time, talent, and resources on finding a criminal STILL WALKING THE STREETS TODAY?

just a thought :alien:

Off-topic, but as an ethical issue, if you mangle a hooker after you've had sex with her, do you then leave money in the wound, or do you find her pimp and pay him if she was contracted out?

I'd hate to fuck and flee.

I don't know.....hmmm...I still believe that he had medical training or knowledge to some degree, which I guess it's possible this "Sickert" fellow could've obtained. I still like the Price Eddie
theory (I think it's Eddie??) the best, though that supposedly doesn't tread water....although my anyone would "believe" they
Royal date book that he was "out of the country" at that time is
beyond me. What the heck were they going to say!

You know, if you really look at the pictures of his victims, he did not seem to have any medical skills or talent at all. It was all hack and cut and mutilation. I mean, he really got crazy medival on their asses.

I don't know, I still think there has to be some kind of medical knowledge or at least familiarity with the body to start extracting
organs. Anyone could hack someone to shreds and maybe cut their extremities off, but he did have some skill with a surgical knife. Knew to stop the heart before making the cuts etc....but who knows, could've just been a hack I guess.

Goatslayer, if she was private, I think leaving it in a clean envelope or hanky @ the scene is fine, if through an agency, then you'd have to square up with them, or they'd put you on their blacklist, and victims could not be obtained as easily.

I thought this mystery had been solved. Jack the Ripper was David Warner, who also traveled into the Twentieth Century in H.G. Wells' (also known as Malcolm McDowell, by his friends) Time Machine.

I saw the movie.

problem is thsat he wasn't medically trained and would not have demonstrated the precicison in the butcherings.....It was the Royal families doctor

Dude, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to disembowel someone. You just cut them open. People called "deer hunters" do this in the field all the time. Just think, if you had all the time in the world and knew you would not be disturbed, how easy it would be to remove a liver. You just gut them and then find the liver and extract it.

I don't buy it....livers and such are one thing....ovaries with the tubs still attached are a different story

have you seen From Hell?

the movie was based on a book - the book was factually incorrect - therefore so is the movie.

not saying I support any of this talk here, just pointing out that hollywood isn't the best way to learn.

...lol.....I wasn't referring to it as being factual - I just like it......

Yes I saw the movie and no I don't think it was accuract. Like HS pointed out. I refuse to believe that Jack had a partner to help him recruit victims.

Just to debate Cornwalls findings, how do you explain the deaths that followed Sickert in each location? Being he was a former actor, he was the master of disguise, and he had "studios" in all the areas that the victims were found.

On the other hand, the Queen is probably eager to accept this idea as it is much PR better than the royal doctor.

On a side note, why would the royal doctor do this, was a motive ever established?

Anyone seen Max Keebles Big Move?

Big Move? Was it the Elbow of Doom? A Top Rope Plancha?

His movie sucked.... except for the part where the bully opened his jacket to show everyone he had written the name of his next victim and it was..... FREAK WITH BATHROBE

I read that he was suffering from some sort of dimensia but was protected due to his YEARS of service to the royal family.

I had also heard that a nephew was responsible...he also had medical training

I heard it was a Royal Family member who was suffering from syphillis. (really!) He was having spells of insanity near the end and the murders occured right before he died.

Is there another unsolved mystery greater than the Ripper?

The Zoadiac murders were never solved.... hmmmm

...I think that member was indeed the nephew - that clicks now.
