I passed over nip/tuck as i didn't know much about it,but I may return to get it now

I got band of brothers for 37.50
lost season one for thirty(never seen the show,but figured season one would be the best)
sopranos season one for 30
OZ season one for 12
24 season one for less than 20

actually, get - i think - season 2 where they introduce the carver arc, it runs 2 seasons. that is the great tv. after that the show has sucked big time. its worse than a soap opera now. BUT get the seasons where the carver story arc runs. its insane.

also oz was a fantastic show. have seen every episode.

HBO shows are the exception
I dont think I've ever seen shit on HBO

also I'm going to get deadwood

I don't subscribe to HBO as I don't need yet another addiction to feed

24 was pretty good. Deadwood will take awhile to get into, but should be worth it.

by buying the seasons in bulk I can watch an entire season in a week
w/o commercial interruption
and not have to hastle with recording and looking up schedules etc. etc.

my set purchases are averaging about $5-8 per disc
that's worth it to me to have the whole season together and a box too

why not check out dvr? it comes with most cable options and only cost 5 to 10 more a month. its fantastic. i have been able to watch super bowl 42 about 9 times already.
