my famous boiled peanuts are made by adding water, salt and hot pepper flakes with the peanuts and cooked on high in the crock pot until tender (takes damn near 24 hrs to be totally done)

just add the water up near the top of the crock pot
make sure you buy RAW peanuts
dont add too much red pepper flakes 1 tbls maybe more later if you taste it and want it spicier (none if you dont want it spicy)
and just keep adding salt to taste, i probably use at least 6 tablespoons, maybe more
turn crock pot on high
the peanuts are done when they are soft on the inside, the shell will stay pretty hard
bite into the shell a little bit so the juice comes out and suck on it the juice is damn good once you get it right
make sure you keep adding salt to get the right taste, dont put too much in at first
