insulin syringes ussually come in 50 or 100 i.u. they usually count by 10 iu so the first so there should be 9 hashes before it says 10. so in that case the first to hashes will be 2 iu. 1cc or 1 ml on a standar syringe is 100 iu

i.u. is not equal to 1/100th of a ml. But in this case, insulin is standardized at a concentration of 100i.u. per 1ml. It was previously standardized to 40i.u. per ml, but so many people fucked it up that they switched it to something easier. To learn more about I.U., follow the link below:
