i'll be fine Jen. it's early enough. now if it was after 7 or 8, i'd be up all night.
SA - huge difference. the first pot i made, i passed my gf a cup and she almost spit it out. big shocker to her, and just using some columbian beans ground to espresso fineness was a shocker to her. Best coffee my grocery store has is some San Francisco Bay stuff. it's pretty good actually. $6.95/lb too.
i think my next step is to get my own grinder.
place i ordered my scanner from sent me a flyer. they sell all sorts of stuff. they had a (make sure you're sitting down) $2100 coffee/espresso maker!!! since the description didn't say it'll suck my dick while making my java, i decided it's not worth it.
