"My first cycle and my first injection" by crsteve.
Just playing.
It was 1cc of 200mg EQ. I was so pumped last night about getting to shoot this morning that I woke up 8 or 9 times. So, about 8:30, I got out my vial, a pin, a drawing needle, alcohol and sterile pads. Washed my hands, cleaned the top of the newly opened vial, drew with the 20g drawing, switched back over to the 23g pin (got rid of all the air and used a drop to lube the ol' pin), and sterilized my glute. I then laid on my side, set the needle on my glute and the thing slid in like a hot knife through butter. Aspirated, all was well, then injected. It really does take 30 seconds like you all say. So I cleaned up my mess, grabbed a hot cloth and massaged until I could massage no more, then stretched and now here I am - I was going to go running, but it decided to start pouring down rain.
Oh and I have always had a fear of needles, but facing your fear is such a rush! Can't wait til Friday.
