What is up with people acting like this war is a game?

There are going to be wives who will never hold their husbands again. Sons who will never play catch with their fathers. Daughters who will never have the chance of having their father walk them down the aisle on their wedding day. Parents who will have to bury their sons. Yet people seem to want to treat this as a game.

A lot of brave men and women left this country to do their duty, and some won't return. Don't disrespect them by sitting in front of the TV and acting like it's a movie or game. Be proud of them, honor them, show them the respect they deserve, but don't disrespect them.

May they all return safely and as soon as possible.

yep. second by second, play by play, replete with "expert" commentary, just like the super bowl except that they can't charge as much for the commercials.
