What is Karma?
In case you don't know, Karma is the green currency of the Elite Fitness.com Discussion Forums. It looks like this and appears next to a member's posts. When you read a post on the forums that you like, take your mouse and click a member's Karma Yin Yang, the small icon that look like this , and let the member know that you approve of his or her posts. The more good Karma you get, from members' clicking on your Yin Yang, along with the number of months you've been on the site combined with your total post count equals how much Karma you'll be able to give to other members when you click their Yin Yangs. A new member may only be able to give 1 or 2 karma hits at a time. But a well respected veteran of the boards, can perhaps give out 50 karma hits at once or even more! The cool thing about Karma is that it let's you know who the most knowledgeable and trusted members of the site are. They are the members with the most Karma!
What can you do with your Karma? Well, in addition to hoarding it, you can spend it in the Karma Store on cool things like bombs that let you help the moderators. You can wager it on different events in the Karma Bookie forum. And soon you will be able to wager in a Karma poker game!
Here's where a Platinum Membership comes in. You also get more Karma when you become a Platinum Member of the forums. Now you get 500 Karma hits for each month of a Platinum Membership that you invest in. Get a Month to Month membership and you get 500 Karma hits when you join and 500 more EVERY time your membership renews.
